Mr. Schachter has practised as counsel in the field of civil litigation and administrative law since being called to the Bar of British Columbia in January 1978. His practice has included appearances in all of the Superior Courts of British Columbia, in the Manitoba Queen's Bench, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.

Mr. Schachter has experience in a broad variety of commercial litigation disputes, including class actions, professional negligence, shareholder disputes, commercial fraud, pension litigation and product liability.
