Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Senkpiel served as Law Clerk to the Chief Justice of British Columbia, the Honourable Lance Finch.

Mr. Senkpiel practices civil litigation at both the trial and appellate levels, with a focus on commercial disputes, including breach of contract, professional negligence, defamation, construction disputes, insurance disputes, trust and pension claims, securities disputes, commercial fraud, class actions, and wrongful dismissal actions.

Mr. Senkpiel has appeared as counsel at all levels of Court in British Columbia, and before the Saskatchewan Court of Queen's Bench.  Mr. Senkpiel has a particular interest in the law of unjust enrichment, and appellate practice.

Mr. Senkpiel is a founding editor of the B.C. Civil Appeals Netletter, a monthly publication that reviews and comments on significant judgments from the British Columbia Court of Appeal and provides information about important developments at the Court.
