Ms. Thompson's practice is confined to legal research and analysis. She is a lawyer's lawyer, who provides her services to the other members of the firm. She has served as an instructor in courses in legal research for the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia, as a member of a committee designing a mandatory course in legal research to be required of all articling students, and is a member and past executive officer of the Legal Research Subsection of the British Columbia Branch of the Canadian Bar Association.
Ms. Thompson was called to the Bar in 1982 and was a founding partner of Nathanson, Schachter & Thompson in 1987.
