James P. Parker
Mr. Parker carries on a general civil litigation practice. He has assisted with the advancement of matters before all levels of court in British Columbia, as well as matters before the Court of Queen’s Bench in Alberta.
Mr. Parker graduated with a J.D. from the University of Victoria in 2016. He was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2018.
While at law school, Mr. Parker received several faculty awards for academic achievement and contributions to the law school and community life. He was also the recipient of class prizes in Advanced Taxation and International Investment Law. In his final semester, Mr. Parker studied abroad at the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London, UK.
After graduating law school, Mr. Parker served as judicial law clerk to Madam Justice Garson and Mr. Justice Fitch of the Court of Appeal for British Columbia. Prior to joining NST, he articled at a national law firm.
