Nathanson, Schachter & Thompson LLP is seeking a new receptionist to start in March or early April.

The ideal candidate is energetic, has an excellent grasp of Word, Outlook, Adobe and Excel, and good technical skills generally (able to troubleshoot minor IT issues). He or she is fluent in English, extremely organised, and can prioritise many tasks while handling the demands of a front desk which is occasionally very busy. Law firm experience is an asset, but is not required. More important is the candidate's attitude, enthusiasm, and set of computer-related skills.

Always maintaining a calm and cheerful demeanour, the ideal candidate will have a superlative work ethic and willingness to assist his or her team members. The receptionist is expected to act as a support person for senior LAAs, and to act as project manager for various office tasks, in addition to traditional reception duties such as: greeting clients, ordering supplies, setting up for meetings, dealing with service providers and ensuring that office systems run smoothly. In addition, those with an interest and aptitude may be asked to assist our expert paralegals in file-related tasks.
